Andrew Scheer’s Speech Marking the Sesquicentennial Anniversary of the First Meeting of the First Parliament of the Dominion of Canada

November 6th marked the 150th anniversary of the first meeting of the first Parliament of the Dominion of Canada. I was pleased to be in attendance to mark such an historic day. As we look back on our history and reflect on the growth of our country, let us not forget the many dedicated men and women who had a vision where all are free to speak without fear, worship in our own way, stand for what we think right and oppose what we believe wrong, and free to choose those who shall govern our country.
