GOVERNMENT OF CANADA STIMULATES TOURISM IN RURAL COMMUNITIES
PORT DOVER, ONTARIO, AUGUST 18, 2010 – The Government of Canada is investing $24,000 to attract tourists while commemorating the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. The announcement was made today by the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada on behalf of Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz.

GOVERNMENT OF CANADA INVESTS IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CREATES JOBS IN NORFOLK COUNTY
DELHI, ONTARIO, AUGUST 16, 2010 – The Government of Canada is helping a local company create jobs to create a new line of energy saving winter cooling towers. The $242,000 contribution was announced today by the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.

Government of Canada Invests in Heritage Infrastructure at Lynnwood Campbell-Reid House National Historic Site of Canada
SIMCOE, ONTARIO, AUGUST 12, 2010 – On behalf of the Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of the Environment and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and Member of Parliament for Haldimand-Norfolk, today announced that the Government of Canada will be investing in infrastructure improvements at Lynnwood Campbell-Reid House National Historic Site of Canada. This elegant red-brick house built for Simcoe’s first postmaster Duncan Campbell in 1850, is an iconic example of Neoclassical-style architecture.
